The Maypearl varsity baseball team made the playoffs. Andy was selected as one of the JV players to move up. He wasn’t excited at all.
We played in Cleburne against Clifton. The teams lined up for the player introductions and the national anthem. Andy is number 9.
It was a pretty day for Baseball.
We played into the night.
The guys in the dugout cheered on their team.
There was a twenty-minute lightening delay in the middle of the 7th inning. We had a 2-1 lead at the time. Three more outs and the game would be over.
Our guys held them off and won the game!
Right after the field was tarped the sky opened up and it poured rain. It was an exciting evening.
